10th Jan Gathering
Good morning friends. Due to the recent news of covid and lockdowns in Brisbane, and with me being a little under the weather. We won’t be meeting in person this Sunday. However, I do not want to get into the habit/temptation of giving up. So I still want us to do something together (just apart hehehe)… so here goes…
A sermon without Jesus is not really a sermon is it? But the truth is we have heard enough sermons in our life to know that Jesus is the answer. The problem is that we often don’t know the question. This makes the privilege of the great commission from Jesus to be rather challenging!
Live Church goals are to overcome isolation, ignorance and indifference so that people are free to live the way God wants them to live. To live with the primacy of the gospel and the priority of evangelism. So with that in mind I wanted to share this video ‘sermon’ (which doesn’t mention Jesus) to help us better understand the questions all people ask at some time ‘what must I do to be happy’?
I suppose the sermon part of the video is up to you… how do you apply the good news of Jesus in what this video reveals about the age old question all humans have been asking?
